- I didn't take time to get to know the prospect - Who are they? What do they need? How can I help [either personally or connect them with the person who can]?
- The prospect isn't qualified for what I can provide or doesn't want help. (see #1)
- I was afraid of silence.
- I was unclear of the prospects' needs (see #1)
- I cam in and was too quick to "throw up" all my great benefits - how did I know I could help? (see #1)
- I missed the REAL reason someone chooses to work with me...ME
- I may not appear to care about the prospect (see #1)
Don't make the same mistake as I did and forget to stop and listen!
