Are you becoming a "World Changer?"

Today, S. Truett Cathy, founder and chief executive officer of Chick-fil-A, was inducted into Indiana Wesleyan University’s Society of World Changers. The Indiana Wesleyan University Society of World Changers was established in 2003 "to honor exemplary individuals who are impacting their professions with a vibrant Christian faith, who embody the mission and vision of the University, and whose lives demonstrate ways students can become world changers."

Cathy, specifically is being inducted because of the stand and example he set for running his business, Chick-fil-a, based on Biblical principles. His decision to close his restaurants on Sunday was a bold move in 1967, but one that has set a significant precedence in the Christian business community.

Are you willing to take a bold step to impact your community for the Kingdom? The Society of World Changers was founded on the concept of "Roaring Lambs" - the book by Robert Briner. In the Forward is a quote from Michael W. Smith that says,

"I have tried to convey to people that we can live out our faith much more powerfully if we would talk less and live more."
I would add that our faith will be as powerful as the type of live we live. We must be intentional in our decisions and walk not only outside the workplace...but more importantly...inside the workplace.
